Hey dolls! It’s been a while...but I’m baaaaaaackkkk:) This was my first time doing a photo shoot at night. Hence the pictures look super ----um ...yeah (lol) I don’t know about the weather in your city, but ours has been freakin BIPOLAR!!!! It’s spring and it’s freezing here!! My wardrobe is in a state of shock right now lol
I’ve been so into dressing down lately but with a hint of “I actually took the time to put this together without REALLY putting this together” look. I’m so into the embellished pearl trends. So.....I’ve wanted to do a random “About Me” post but never actually got around to actually posting it. So this has literally been sitting in my drafts for at least a month (inserts monkey covering his eyes emoji). Let’s go ahead and get random.......
22 Random Facts About Me
1. I have a ritual in order to get some quality sleep. It has to be extremely cold. Eye mask, earplugs, a loud fan, my aromatherapy diffuser with a few drops of lavender chamomile oil, and a pillow over my head. Yes, I'm extra AF.
2. I'm an introvert. I'd rather be at home cuddled up on a couch than at an event or around a crowd. With that said, I often NEED my alone time / space to recharge.
3. I HATE chocolate, however, Snickers is the only chocolate that’s BAE.
4. I'm 5'2 who prefers wearing heels over flats.
5. My first job was the age 17 as a sales associate at Body Shop which later was referred to as Body Central.
6. I'm a hugeeeeeeee Beyonce fan. She rules the f*cking world. Don't argue with me.
7. I wear a hair tie on my wrist 98% of the time.
8. I truly value my bubble baths. I normally add a bath bomb, eucalyptus Epson salt. I usually sit in the tub for a hour catching up on blogs, emails, etc. I can run the world in that tub.
9. Blood and needles make me queasy.
10. I am so OCD with my nails. My nails never not have polish on them. Seriously, I haven't had bare nails since the 8th grade.
11. I'm the queen of sleep. Everyone knows that if they can't reach me, 99.9% I'm sleeping.
12. Phobias: birds, butterflies, moths, basically anything that can turn into a flying ninja....they ALL scare the S*** out of me...not kidding.
13. I am really big on having a peaceful atmosphere at all times. I have an obsession with anything therapeutic: yoga, long baths, ocean, water/ water sounds. I have three water fountains/diffusers in my home. I'm constantly doing research on therapeutic oils, rocks, etc.
14. I loveeeee Italian food. Spaghetti is my favorite. Pizza and lasagna is a close 2nd.
15. I've watched every episode of A Different World at least 10 times each. I can literally recite word for word each episode. Team Whitley & Dawayne!
16. I have to keep my bathroom and linen closet completely stocked with tissue and fresh towels at ALL times. It just lessens my anxiety and makes me feel like I have my life together 😂
17. Lemonade is the bizz. I literally order lemonade everywhere I go.
18. I draw. I submitted a drawing to an art school at the age of 12. I received a 95/A but was told to reapply because I had to be 13.
19. I spritz myself in perfume every night before bed.
20. My favorite side dish is green beans.
21. Still, to this day, I can not watch Micheal Jackson's video "Thriller". Scares the crap out of me. I still have nightmares about that video.
22. In high school my girlfriends and I had a singing group. We wrote our own songs, recorded them in the studio, and performed one of them at our high school talent show. We actually won the talent show! :D
