This weekend, I hosted my first Iron Bowl party. If you're not from the South, you may not be familiar of the major two rival football teams (Alabama & Auburn). Well let me be the one to tell you, that it is a SERIOUS deal here in the South. We all took off our shoes, kicked our feet up on the couch or on each other (Ha!).Shamelessly, we stuffed our faces with comfort food and drinks.
The evening was filled with laughter and the occasional screaming for our teams (Sorry neighbors!) It was so nice to be with the all the people I love. Even my college roommate, Kathren came to join in on the fun. Talk about picking up like we never left! She and I both scream War Eagle btw ;-)! So, I must say my first Iron Bowl party was a success! All of this week's fun has tired this girl out! The bed is calling my name! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
