Tis’ the season to go shopping. Every year around this time, I go on a hunt to round up all the good Black Friday sales & specials for you babes.
I took my first flight 3 years ago. It’s something that’s been on my bucket list and I’ve longed to create more adventures and memories. Being a small town girl who is also homebody, flying was never a thing for me or my family. All that has definitely changed now. After my first flight, I knew I would travel more . Here are some tips and tricks that I’ve learned to book the cheapest flights. All these hacks are pretty practical ,universal, and will guarantee a cheap flight.
Go Incognito
A private browsing . This is the first and most effective tip . Have you ever looked at one specific flight and was ready to book but you decided not to? You check back a few hours later and the same flight that you almost booked price went from $180 to $500 ? Airlines and search engines keep track of your browser cookies. Flight prices rise every time you visit the page making you think you have to book now. Take an extra step and look at flights in private /incognito mode.
Google Flights
We have so many resources out there to make life easier. Google Flights is a life saver when trying to score the cheapest flights. You simply enter in your departure date , time, and location. Google flights will pull up a calendar showing all the dates and times to book that also include the prices. It allows you to see the cheapest days to fly to your destination. You’re almost GUARANTEED to find the cheapest flight through them.
Lay Over Flights
If you’re flexible with your time, lay over flights literally save you A LOT. I enjoy lay over flights. Give you time to visit gift shops, grab lunch or coffee. Lay overs arent bad in my opinion because honestly by the time I get off the plane, go to the bathroom, and grabbed snacks , I was rushing to board my connecting flight. Time goes by so fast. But be prepared. Bring a book, IPad, journal. Keep yourself occupied. The bigger the layover the cheaper the flight.
One way flights
If you’re looking for one way flight , Skyscanner is a great app to use to compare prices. They usually have the best cheap flight prices.
Day of the week
Friday and Saturdays are usually the days most people fly out yet the prices of the weekend are usually not that great. On the weekends, people have more time on their hands and usually start searching for flights in their leisure. Prices are usually high to search for cheap flights. However, Monday is a great day to book. People are at work, less searches of flights which mean prices are mostly lower around this time. Personally I have saved tons when I searched and booked my flight on Mondays in comparison to any other day of the week..
I hope these tips help and share your cheap flight hacks below!
It’s not secret that crop tops have been around and they don’t seem to be going away anytime soon. Crop tops are such a fun piece to pair with literally anything. Not comfortable showing too much skin? You can easily throw on a blazer or fitted jacket over your crop top. Use your cardigans, jackets, blazers, as a safety blanket to throw on top. Add a clutch and some heels and you have an entire outfit for a night out.
It has definitely warmed up here in the South. When it comes to clothing, less is more. Being able to peel back layers and just allow my skin to soak up Vitamin D. Crop tops are so freeing. Everyone can wear crop tops. I repeat, every one can wear and ROCK a crop top. It brings me immense joy when I see women confident and live outloud. Nothing is more freeing than expressing yourself without limitations.
Here I just paired my top with some cigarette/mom jeans. There is just something balancing when pairing a crop top with jeans. This top is so versatile that I’ve worn it as a beach top.
